Hubertus - the famous name of the European Saint for hunters - is registered trade mark for cutlery since 1898.

In the beginning it was used to mark hunting knives and daggers, but various sheath and boy scouts knives have been added soon. Due to the company's experience the product lines af edged weapons followed, and in the 50's Kuno Ritter Company completed its range of cutlery by introducing high quality handcrafted table ware with genuine stag horn handles.

Today Hubertus is the most experienced and leading Solingen manufacturer of stag handled table ware. The reputation for handcrafted knives for hunting, sporting outdoor is well established all over the world!

Basic patterns of knives are completed by various handle materials, even exclusive woods and mother of pearl. Antique patterns of daggers sheath knives and pocket knives are part of the production range. Picnic knives with unique technique patterns of take-apart mechansime are offered in several variations and have been custom crafted even in Sterling silver series.

In 1961 the full production range of Gebr. Graefrath Company, Solingen was added to Hubertus knives. That company was involved in knife manufacturing since the 19th century and was speciaized in manufacturing professional gardener's and electrician's knives but also hunting knives, daggers and packet knives. Those knives with the Graewisco brand marketing were step by step replaced with the Hubertus logo.
